Alexandra Lind for Fiandaca
Alexandra Lind Rose is designing again and has teamed up with Alfred Fiandaca to debut her new collection, Alexandra Lind for Fiandaca. Alexandra’s collection is a perfect compliment to Alfred’s collection as she aims to dress his client’s daughters and granddaughters. She designs for a girl who has her own sense of fashion and knows what she wants when she shops. Her collection has an overall light and airy feeling with designs that range from cocktail party dresses to a flirty high waist palazzo pant.
Having a life filled with formal dinners, debutante and charity parties in New York, East Hampton, and Palm Beach, Alexandra noticed a void in the dress market and started designing fashion forward dresses for herself and her friends during their teenage years. Alexandra then went on to graduate from Mount Vernon College and traveled throughout Europe for 6 months. Upon her return, Alexandra decided to continue on with her fashion interests and pursued her degree in Fashion Design at Parsons. Alexandra Lind was Alex’s first women’s wear collection in the 1990’s that was sold at stores including Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Henri Bendel, Jacobsons, and Tootsies.
In 2003, Alexandra took a short break from designing to spend time with her husband, family, and friends. It was during this time that she gained a clear perspective on her client’s interests, lifestyle, and sense of style. She took on the role of Style Director for Alvin Valley from 2004-2006. After having just debuted her collection, Alexandra Lind for Fiandaca has already been featured in many publications including Woman’s Wear Daily, Palm Beach Daily News, The New York Sun, The Boston Globe, and New York Social Diary
